Kristin Kotkowski, MBA
My name is Kristin Kotkowski. I'm originally from Germany — and my biggest culture shock was healthcare access here in the U.S.
Before Meridian, I spent my career as a banker in Europe, financing complex projects across healthcare, transportation, and infrastructure — work that meant managing high-stakes stakeholders, budgets, and cultures across multiple countries at once. It's where I learned how to move complicated projects forward no matter how many parties, systems, or languages were in the room.
My family and I made a deliberate choice for New Mexico to be our home. I started on the ground here as a Community Support Worker, learning firsthand what New Mexicans are struggling with — so much of it is access to healthcare.
Today, I'm Co-Founder and CEO of Meridian Community Care, working to connect New Mexicans — including our Native, Tribal, and Pueblo communities — to the care and resources they deserve.

Juan Massey, LLM
I’m Juan Massey and I bring 25+ years at the intersection of tribal sovereignty, healthcare policy, and government relations — including service as a gubernatorial appointee under Governor Bill Richardson, Deputy Director for International & Tribal Affairs at the New Mexico Governor's Organized Crime Commission (the state's primary liaison to New Mexico's federally recognized tribes), and executive staff to the Office of the President and Vice President of the Navajo Nation.
Born in Mexico and raised in both Mexico and the U.S., I am bilingual (English/Spanish), and hold an LLM from Boston University School of Law.
Today, I’m Co-Founder and Managing Member of Meridian Community Care and I co-founded our company to turn a career spent earning trust between governments and tribal communities — including leading tribal outreach into a company built to do exactly that work at scale.
